    This is a professional 3 axis 32Bit gimbal with encoders for a Sony A6000 camera. We have added roll,pitch and yaw encoders to give the gimbal the best precision and stabilization. The encoders are As5048A via PWM and we also added a slip rings for 360 degree operation. This gimbal uses FOC specific compensations. With the encoders the gimbal uses 70% less power. The gimbal is all setup and tuned and includes the latest SimpleBGC encoder firmware. Includes a protective case and cable for power. We offer additional options that you can add to this gimbal like auto geo-tag, remote camera controls and HDMI video output.

    Using encoders with gives the following advantages:

    1. Prevents motors from losing synchronization and skipping steps.
    2. Provides the information about frame angle and angle of the camera relative to frame, that can be important for some kind of applications.
    3. For many cases it can significantly decrease power consumption by using field-oriented control strategy to drive motors.
    4. Increases instant torque in the same way.
    5. Allows the controller to get information about the camera balance for automatic balancing (with help of extra DC servo motors and moving counterweights).
    6. The firmware also retains an option to adjust camera position by hands.
    7. Increases the precision of stabilization by applying FOC-specific compensations.
